B. RHOADES 1945~2009

Beverly Jean Rhoades, age 63, of Neola passed away February 8, 2009 at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Beverly was born Nov. 15, 1945 in Wendover, Utah to Harvey Gentry and Margaret Elzada Wright. The family moved to Salt Lake City in 1947, where later Beverly graduated from high school. She then met Gale "Dusty" Rhoades and the two united in marriage Sep. 24, 1965. To complete their family circle, they brought an angel into their life, daughter Paula Jean was born on March 11, 1974.

Bev will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman who had a wonderful smile and sense of humor. She enjoyed many years of dedication as a sorority member of Epslon Sigma Alpha where she participated in various charity and fund raising events for St. Jude's Hospital.

Beverly is survived by daughter, Paula Jean Hepting, grand-daughter Emilee Jade Benson, grandson Shawnstin Alexander Hepting, and great-grandson Dustin Dakota Benson; brothers: Lynn Wright of Spokane, Wash., Ken (Jan) Wright of Spokane, Wash., Paul (Virginia) Wright; sisters: Joyce (George) Adamson, Patricia Denney all of Walla Walla, Wash., also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband, Dusty Rhoades.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 16, at the Neola LDS Chapel.

Burial was in the Neola Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary. - Hullinger Mortuary

Hello Randy,
Wow! I am at a loss for words. I just read your post about Bev today. The last time I talked to her on the phone (-6087) I never dreamed she would leave before I did.
I guess our time here is a privilage not to squander. The baton is now passed on to Paula Jean. I hope it serves her well and that she never gives up the task that her father Dusty started.

Dusty & Bev together again, as it should be. Maybe now they can prospect together.

I humbly and sorryfully say Goodby.

Thank you Randy, I appreciate you posting a memorial. Their are alot of people out there that are still not aware of my mothers passing, not to mention it caught everyone off guard, it was all real sudden. Thank you though. She will be truely missed and I have even bigger shoes to fill now.
