It is with great sorrow that I report the death of Ernest Shirley, owner of Shirley's Rock Shop In Hanksville, Utah on 12 May 2008. Those of us that have known or visited with Ernie will greatly miss him, a long time friend of the rock hound and dino hunter, he was an inspiration to all who visited with him. It has been a long road and you traveled it well Ernie, you will be greatly missed.
